Many different types of companies are looking for people with the skills to help their businesses run smoothly. To help you enter this field, EAC offers two certificates and an AAS degree.

Career areas include office management, records management, medical or legal transcription, desktop publishing and executive assistance.

 

You'll have the best chance of getting hired if:

Administrative Professional (AAS)
This associate of applied science degree program helps you develop job skills and use a variety of essential software. You can select different courses to prepare for a career as a medical or legal transcriptionist, or train to become a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist.

Business Technology Specialist Certificate (Certificate)
This certificate program helps you develop good keyboarding skills and become a specialist in one or more word processing programs.
