This course will introduce students to intercultural and cross-cultural concepts and practices in the field of communication. The course covers globalization of communication, historical understandings of intercultural interactions, cultural identity, intercultural relationships, nonverbal communication expectancies, cultural practices, and the communication behaviors embedded within intercultural interactions.
