TRANSFER PARTNERSHIPS
TRANSFER DEGREES FOR ASU, NAU, AND U OF A
Eastern Arizona College offers four Associate transfer degrees that are appropriate for transfer to Arizona’s public universities. These degrees contain the basic block of courses included in the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) as well as additional electives, giving you the appropriate number of credits needed to earn an associate degree. Successful completion of those listed below with a 2.5 GPA or better means all included AGEC courses will transfer as a block to ASU, NAU and UA and guarantees your admission.
The four transfer degrees EAC students can earn are:
Associate of Arts (AA)
Associate of Business (ABus)
Associate of General Studies (AGS)
Associate of Science (AS)
If a student selects a major not listed in the EAC catalog, they should:
Consult the catalog or curriculum transfer guide of the university to which they plan to transfer (available at AZTransfer)
Seek assistance from advisors at the transfer university for personalized guidance.
Meeting General Education Requirements:
Students must choose appropriate courses from the required program areas to meet the General Education requirements. See list under the General Education Transfer Degrees tab at the top)
Some degree programs may require specific courses rather than allowing a choice from the approved GE courses. For more information on the ACEG curriculum, please refer to AZ Transfer General Education Curriculum at aztransfer.com
GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY
GCU offers a plan of study for nursing students to begin concurrently with the start of the EAC nursing program. The classes offered during the concurrent period are all online. With this partnership, GCU is able to extend a tuition discount, or scholarship, to EAC students. Upon EAC ADN graduation, students continue in the GCU BSN program at the posted tuition rate.
OUT-OF-STATE UNIVERSITIES
