Prerequisite

Students will gain updated EMS educational content as they review the National Core Curriculum Program (NCCP) of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and successfully perform required psychomotor skills. Students will receive a minimum of 45 hours of continuing education (CE) credits, up to a total of 60 credits, to be used for AZ State EMCT recertification or NREMT Paramedic recertification. If necessary, this course may also be designated as an **Official AZDHS Paramedic Refresher Course at the discretion of the course instructor and will be taught and documented as such in compliance with all state regulations for that designation.

Description

This course is designed to enable students trained at the Paramedic level to maintain proficiency and receive the most up-to-date cognitive, psychomotor, and affective information for treating the sick and injured. This class may be repeated as many times as necessary to maintain provider recertification.
