Prerequisite

Student must present the following to the course instructor on the first day of class to remain in the course: Proof of current or expired American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR card AND proof of current or expired EMT Certification from the State of Arizona, other state or territory, or from the National Registry of EMT's. If initial certification has not yet been obtained, documentation of completion of prior training in an EMT 103 course or equivalent is required.

Description

This course is designed to enable students trained at the Emergency Medical Technician level to maintain proficiency and receive the most up-to-date cognitive, psychomotor, and affective information for treating and transporting the sick and injured. This course may be repeated as many times as necessary to maintain provider certification.
