Political Science, Associate of Arts

This degree provides the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree program in political science. Upon obtaining this AA degree students could enter a college of education and obtain a bachelor’s degree and a secondary teacher’s certificate; or enter a college of liberal arts and complete a bachelor’s degree in political science. Following this, the student might enter law school, employment in government or enter graduate school for further and more specialized work in political science. Since program requirements differ between universities, the official transfer pathway (www.aztransfer.com/transferpathways) of the school which the student plans to attend upon leaving EAC should be consulted in order to adjust this program to the students personal needs.
